Array Slices

This features allows you to select array items with a specified range.

Slices works similar to the Array.prototype.slice(). See MDN Docs for more info

Colon

The colon token along with brackets [:] is used to slice arrays.

$.friends[2:4]

Types

There three types of slices you can use.

Left Slice: $.friends[1:]

Right Slice: $.friends[:4]

Full Slice: $.friends[2:5]

INFO

Negative slicing is supported as well.

DANGER

Empty slices are not supported: $.friends[:]
